The Bernon Family Branch of the Hockomock Area YMCA in Franklin is hiring Arts & Enrichment Instructors. The Enrichment Instructor teaches and facilitates a variety of preschool and school-age Enrichment programs. The Instructor is responsible for creating a positive, safe, engaging, and progressive environment for all participants.
Essential Functions
- Plans, teaches, and organizes assigned classes, according to YMCA policies and procedures
- Maintains facility and equipment, reporting all concerns to the supervisor
- Performs administrative duties, as needed, including taking attendance and tracking progress
- Supports the annual Reach Out For Youth Campaign
- Attends all staff meetings and mandatory trainings
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- Experience working with youth, preferred
- Enrichment instruction experience, preferred
- First Aid, CPR, and Child Protection certification within the first 30 days
