About this opportunity:
Under the direct supervision of the Corps Officer, the Receptionist/Administrative Clerk is responsible for performing Hostess function which includes but is not limited to: preparation of refreshments for department meetings and special events. The incumbent is responsible for the general overall maintenance of the kitchen, including ordering kitchen and cleaning supplies. He/she also is responsible for operating and managing the switchboard and mail room functions and ordering supplies.
What we are looking for in you:
- High School diploma or equivalent, and one year experience working in a kitchen preferred.
- Or Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Duties are usually performed by frequent walking and/or standing, kneeling, or squatting relieved by lesser periods of sitting.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a normal kitchen environment where there may be limited physical discomforts associated with working around hot stoves/ovens or cold freezers.
