What would you do as a School Age Day camp staff

As a part time School Age Day Camp staff at the Y, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and secure environment for children, always keeping a watchful eye on their activities. Your warm and friendly personality will shine as you engage with the kiddos, creating a positive and nurturing atmosphere where they can thrive. By assisting in maintaining a learning environment filled with developmentally appropriate activities, you'll contribute to the growth and development of each child in your care. If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people and enjoy being a positive role model, this role is perfect for you.

Requirements for this School Age day camp staff

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
An understanding and knowledge of children, their behavior and development.
Specific knowledge in developmentally appropriate practices for the age group.
Must have or enroll in CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse Prevention, and Prevention of Infectious Diseases.
Warm and friendly personality and the willingness to interact with the children.
Meet DCY licensing qualifications in training and background check.
