WHO YOU ARE:

21 years or older is preferred and have a background working at camp or working with youth
Exceptional communication, listening, leadership, and collaboration skills
Interested in pursuing a career in health care, social work, psychology, or nonprofit management
Experience working in an office setting and with software programs such as Google Workspace is preferred.
Experience/certifications in First Aid / CPR preferred (some training can be provided).
Ability to support the physical/social/emotional needs of youth aged 13-16

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Manage health center and camp office logistics, and supplies, ensuring the office is organized and presentable
Assisting with camper registration and health form collection and organization
Be the point of contact for families—responding to calls and emails with professionalism and care while collaborating with directors to address any concerns and keep guardians informed and reassured
Assist drop-in nurse when needed and administer basic first aid to campers and staff
Collaborate with the Camp Mitton Leadership and Outreach Team to maintain a vibrant, organized environment—supporting at Opening and Closing days, supporting camper experiences, and ensuring smooth transitions during arrivals, departures, and activities
Attend a Leadership Team Summit and Training (prior to camp starting)
You must be able to assist campers in emergencies and possess the endurance required to maintain full-day outdoor supervision of young people

As the office manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of camp operations, making sure everything flows smoothly so campers and staff can fully enjoy the summer!

DETAILS:

Start Date: June 9 | End Date: August 15

Location: Camp Mitton (Brewster, MA)

Pay: $15 per hour. Optional room and board.
