Scion Staffing has partnered with our client, a healthcare, awareness, and cause-driven organization, and were seeking a dynamic, people-powered Nonprofit Peer-to-Peer Fundraiser to lead big revenue growth and event engagement across Louisiana. This isn't your average nonprofit gig. It's a frontline leadership role for someone with extensive experience in managing walks, runs, and other events, with a major focus on peer-to-peer fundraising, recruiting, and coaching teams.

Were a mission-driven mental health organization in New Orleans seeking a Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Manager to power our next chapter of impact. Youll be the heart and hustle behind our supporter-led events, and ping everyday advocates to turn passion into progress for mental health access, awareness, and equity.
What Youll Do:
- Lead the planning and execution of walks, runs, challenge events, and other community-driven fundraising initiatives
- Recruit, train, and empower volunteer fundraisers and team captains to become cause champions
- Design and launch social and grassroots giving campaigns that resonate with diverse communities
- Manage and grow donor-to-donor and network-based fundraising efforts, including social sharing strategies
- Foster a movement by cultivating supporter-led, people-powered fundraising opportunities
- Use tools and platforms to track campaign metrics, donor engagement, and revenue growth
- Bring creativity and empathy to all aspects of campaign management, while meeting ambitious fundraising goals
What You Bring:
- Proven track record raising funds through peer-to-peer, team-based, or participant-driven campaigns
- Experience leading successful events such as walks, runs, or athletic fundraising campaigns
- Strong understanding of community engagement, supporter journeys, and grassroots fundraising tactics
- Tech-savvy with platforms like Classy, DonorDrive, OneCause, or similar
- Passion for mental health advocacy and belief in the power of community-led change
Bonus Points:
- You've led crowd engagement or social fundraising campaigns
- Youve coached others to raise money for a cause and loved every minute
- You know New Orleans, and its rich culture of community mobilization.
Requirements:
You're not afraid of a fast pace, a full calendar, or a goal that stretches you. In fact, you thrive in it.
- Years of experience change: 3-4+ years peer-to-peer fundraising,specifically in walks, runs, and rides
- Under 4 years of experience, if you have a strong YoY- year over year, track record of raising $600K in a year, and increasing significantly each year.
- Geography change: You can be from anywhere in the state of Louisiana or southern Mississippi.
- Proven peer-to-peer fundraising experience with numbers and examples.
- This role is remote except for event days.
- Ability to raise $400K - $600K in one calendar year.
- Track record of securing sponsorships and growing event revenue.
- Recruit and coach teams of volunteers.
- Experience building and managing volunteer committees.
- Strong project management & organizational skills (we love a good spreadsheet).
- Tech-savvy, especially with social media and donor platforms.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Based in Louisiana or southern Mississippi, or willing to move "back" to New Orleans, so long as youhave a deep understanding of the local culture and community relationships.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with national orgs, affiliate/chapter models.
- Familiarity with DonorDrive, Virtuous, Excel, SharePoint.

Compensation and Benefits:
This remote role is based in the greater New Orleans and southern Louisiana area. Our client offers a competitive base salary of $70,000-$75,000 (depending on experience)
Salary change- posted up to $75K, but we have authorization to go up to $80K if you have excellent skills!
