Part-Time Volleyball Coaches Wanted! Friendship YMCA Developmental & Intermediate Volleyball Programs
Are you passionate about volleyball and working with kids? The Friendship YMCA is looking for a part-time volleyball coach to lead and implement our Developmental, Intermediate and In-House Volleyball League Program for children ages 9-16.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Wednesdays, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Program Dates: Starting September 3rd through the school year
- Location: Friendship YMCA, Harrisburg, PA
Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging, fun, and skill-focused volleyball sessions.
- Teach basic volleyball fundamentals like serving, passing, setting, hitting, and teamwork.
- Foster a positive and encouraging environment that promotes character development.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
Requirements:
- Enthusiasm for working with kids and teaching volleyball.
- Previous coaching experience, volleyball playing experience or knowledge preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with participants and parents.
- Must meet YMCA safety standards.

- CPR Certification (Preferred)
