Responsibilities:
Coordinates and Schedules regular visits with parents/caregivers for in-home and/or natural environment direct therapy for Pediatric Therapy Clients.
- Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions.
- Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
- Collaborate with the occupational therapist to modify treatment plans based on patient progress and goals.
- Maintain client therapy records by recording client's progress in service notes each treatment session.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs.
Qualifications:
· Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
· Experience with pediatric occupational therapy
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Must have reliable personal transportation.
Job Types: Part-time and Independent Contractors
Salary: Starting $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: minimum 5 hours per week
