Summary
This position calls for a devout Christian committed to Evangelical faith in Jesus Christ and to growing in his/her personal walk with God. This person must have a heart for ministry and a passion to see the Kingdom of God grow through the exercise of Biblical stewardship and generous giving.
As a highly energetic self-starter, this individual is one who enjoys engaging new people, building close relationships, and connecting people to others and ministry opportunities. Relationally, this person is an encouraging team builder who motivates others with a pastoral and conversational style of communication. Experientially, someone with non-profit leadership, sales, and/or a financial background would best fit. These qualities, combined with a commitment to integrity, a genuine love for people, and a passion to see them grow closer to the Lord, define the ideal candidate for this position.
The purpose of this position is to establish and cultivate potential and new client relationships within the Rock Hill/York, SC region. Understanding the nonprofit's client to be the Christian individual, family, and/or company to whom God has entrusted wealth, this position will introduce philanthropic services and encourage prospective clients to use them.
In building relationships on the community level, this position will establish the nonprofit's local presence and network together the different aspects of the Christian community. To assist in facilitating this, the position will work alongside other staff and volunteers to launch and maintain specific initiatives which further the mission and vision in the stated region, to advance, through education, the concepts of Biblical Stewardship and Proactive Philanthropy, and to provide excellent client service and care.
Supported by services and systems from the nonprofit's Operations Center, the position, working largely independently, is part of a state-wide team seeking to bring together faithful stewards from across the state to extend the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In this, the position must be Spirit-led, self-motivating, innovative, and flexible in the carrying out of this relational ministry.

· To be aware of the needs within the community and the ministries present while identifying the spiritual, human, and financial resources which can be accessed.

Client Development & Care-
· To introduce the nonprofit and its charitable services to Christian leaders in the marketplace, Christian business owners, Christian financial professionals, and influential ministry sponsors and volunteers, encouraging all to use the nonprofit as a resource for giving.
· To identify and engage, as potential partners or possible clients, individuals, families, companies, and local private foundations that financially support the efforts of Christian ministries locally, nationally, and abroad.
· To connect with those individuals and families of wealth seeking to establish or enhance their understanding of Biblical Stewardship and Proactive Philanthropy.
· To identify and communicate with local Christian ministries, introducing the services of the nonprofit to leaders of those ministries and their boards.
