JOB TITLE: Project Assistant
JOB OVERVIEW:
Assist with coordination and tracking of operational matters to achieve the goals and objectives of the program and the mission of the Foundation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Coordination
- Responsible for daily administration duties such as answering phones, sorting and distributing mail, responding to emails, and assisting visitors;
- Responsible for daily morning brief and weekly staff meeting notes;
- Organize and maintain vendor, staff, and program files;
- Prepare and assist with expenditure vouchers;
- Order, restock, and track program supplies, promotional items, and electronic equipment;
- Schedule and service all vehicle maintenance, registration, and safety inspections;
- Assist with the enrollment process of participants;
- Act as Nā Pono Safety Manager Representative.
Program Delivery
- Assist Family Education program, huakaʻi, and other events, by implementing lesson plans and maintaining daily program schedules;
- Interact and engage with caregivers and children by modeling routines and behaviors that encourage growth and learning;
- Participate in the set-up and break-down of Family Education sessions, sanitization of toys, supplies, and mats.
Pay Rate: $17.00 to $18.00
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent;
- At least six (6) months experience of working in an office setting, and have office skills such as typing, word processing, and data entry;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Mail, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Calendar);
- Must have access to a vehicle; have a valid driver's license, a safe and responsible driving record, and current no-fault auto insurance with at least $100K in bodily injury liability per person and $25K in property damage liability.
Preferred:
- Two (2) years of experience and/or education in management, business administration, or related field.
