We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Marketing Specialist to join our team! In this role you will manage digital marketing efforts for our Childcare Programs and Staff Recruitment, as well as provide creative support for developing print production pieces.
Primary Responsibilities:

Manage the Childcare web site and create new pages as needed.

Implementation of Y-USA strategic Marketing plan for Childcare.
- Manage email marketing initiatives, including tasks involving developing monthly e-newsletters, template design, and distribution list coordination, analyzing email open rates and suggesting and testing ideas to improve the open and click through rates.
- Responsible for identifying creative solutions for reaching out to a diverse online audience using various web-based methods including social media, online media, and other inventive solutions.
- Develop new traffic drivers that increase qualified visitors to the site over time.
- Conduct ongoing keyword research and selection for SEO/SEM campaigns.
- Provide monthly reporting on traffic, online campaign results, etc.
Secondary Responsibilities:

Provide creative support to Childcare staff by developing collateral materials (templates, flyers, postcards, brochures, etc.) to support department initiatives.
- Manage assigned creative projects (both electronic and collateral) from conception to completion, creating and maintaining clear systems for documentation and task organization.
Technical
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Experience with CMS systems, web analytics tools (i.e., Google Analytics) and photo and video applications.

Understanding of SEO and content marketing: Knowledge of optimizing content for search engines and attracting the target audience.

Strong understanding of social media platforms: Proficiency in using platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.
Experience (or similar)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Ability to craft engaging and informative content.

Creative and innovative thinking: Capacity to generate fresh and interesting ideas.

Experience designing creative pieces for print production.

Experience developing e-marketing communications/campaigns. Knowledge of email marketing solutions such as ExactTarget and/or Constant Contact preferred.

Experience working with various departments within the organization (IT, Marketing, program and senior management).

Experience managing and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously and adapting to changes in direction based on business needs.
Other
-
Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of web design, web marketing or marketing related experience required.

A portfolio of previous creative work, both print and electronic, is required.
