Founded in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania in 1967, The Bair Foundation is a Christina non-profit ministry serving children and families. We have provided quality care and services to children, youth, and families through a myriad of effective community-based services. Today, The Bair Foundation provides services in 9 states, including Kentucky, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. Our programs are child-centered, family-focused, strength-based and culturally competent which are making a significant and positive impact on the children and families we serve. WHAT YOU’LL DO TO MAKE AN IMPACT
As a Therapist at The Bair Foundation, you’ll be doing meaningful work that supports the emotional and behavioral health of children in foster care. You’ll walk alongside them and their families, helping them heal, grow, and move forward. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy to children and youth in foster care using trauma-informed, evidence-based practices
- Develop strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and foster parents to encourage growth and stability
- Create and implement treatment plans that reflect the unique strengths, needs, and goals of each child
- Collaborate closely with case managers, foster families, and other service providers to ensure a coordinated approach to care
- Track progress and document sessions to monitor outcomes and make informed adjustments to care
- Support healing and resilience in children who have experienced trauma, loss, or instability
- Bring creativity and compassion to your sessions — no two days or children are the same
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training to grow in your skills and stay current in best practices
- Be a vital part of a mission-driven team that believes in hope, restoration, and the power of family
WHAT YOU BRING (Basic qualifications)
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMH) or
- Licensed Mental Health Professional (LPC) or
- Licensed Master’s degree in social work (LMSW) or
- Provisional licensed Master’s Social Work (PLMSW)
WHAT WILL PUT YOU AHEAD
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or
- Licensed Professional Art Therapist (LPAT)
- Experience working with children and families
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
