Schedule/Hours: Monday thru Friday (29 Week)
This position is responsible for: Organizes and maintains all client records, charts and files; ensures the accountability, confidentiality and security of the same; performs billing and admissions data entry work; collects, processes, and secures the assessment fees from clients and generates reports regarding the same.

Data Entry Responsibilities (55%)
Receives, reviews, and verifies information for keypunching into the computer database to ensure appropriate information is present and complete; re-directs items with incomplete or inaccurate information.
Sorts, codes, and categorizes information to be entered into the computer; reviews computer files for duplication or pending notices.
Inputs and logs data into a computer terminal in order to create new files or to update existing files; proofs reports for accurate descriptions and to ensure information is complete and in balance.
Ensures all data entry functions are performed in an accurate, complete, and timely manner; ensures compliance with established deadlines; ensures the confidentiality and integrity of computer information.

Administrative Responsibilities (30%)
Updates, files, and maintains all client records in an accurate, complete, and timely manner; archives old client files as needed; prepares and maintains attendance and enrollment logs of all residents; prepares and submits reports to Program Manager.
Prepares all routine and complex reports as requested by program staff.

Financial Responsibilities (15%)
Collects, documents, and processes the assessment fee required from clients; ensures fees are properly calculated and prepares and reviews receipts for accuracy; prepares records of clients who are repeat nonpayment offenders or who make incomplete payments; submits same to the assigned staff.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively.
Ability to perform basic mathematical equations.
Ability to sort and file documents alphabetically and numerically.
Ability to effectively operate office materials and equipment.
Ability to type and keypunch data into a computer with a high rate of accuracy in a timely manner.
Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking.
Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.).
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or G.E.D.,
and
Two years general office experience including typing and/or keypunching data into a computer,
or
any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
