Job Overview
Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for the organization’s day-to-day operating activities. The COO provides leadership to the strategic planning process and implements new strategic initiatives related to areas such as Operations, Program Services, Finance and Human Resources. The COO leads a management team and is also responsible for regular interactions and updates with the Board of Directors on key initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Leadership

1. Lead the development and implementation of organizational infrastructure, in relation to need and available resources, to facilitate achievement of operational goals.

Strategic Planning

2. Participate in strategic planning to ensure program development aligns with the overall organizational strategy.

3. Evaluate overall program effectiveness on the basis of participation and achievement of stated goals; recommends modifications to improve program performance, as appropriate.

Program Implementation and Oversight

4. Oversee the day to day operations of programs at all locations; ensure effective and efficient program implementation; manage resources, timelines, and budgets for various programs.

5. Set program goals and performance metrics; ensure programs adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and legal requirements; evaluate program effectiveness and impact.

6. Establish systems for tracking program quality, outcomes, progress, and reporting; identify areas for improvement and implement changes; complete reports for interagency agreements as required.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
