JOB SUMMARY
The Corporate Controller functions as a hands-on contributor responsible for a wide range of corporate and finance functions. Responsible for maximizing return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems.
Responsibilities and Activities:

Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.

Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.

Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits; providing information to external auditors.

Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.

Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.

Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Oversees and manages corporate AP, AR and general accounting functions including payroll.

Monitors and reviews activity in general ledger; review and approve account reconciliations.

Owns monthly, quarterly and year-end close process to ensure time, accurate and consistent issuance of financial statements.

Works with all functional departments to gather reliable information and present results in a flexible model that allows easy and quick changes.

Maintains financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

Maintains financial staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.

Assesses and proposes process enhancements to drive process improvement.

Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Accept other various financial and accounting tasks as needed.

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of related experience and education.
Work Experience:

Minimum 10 years accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role.

Compensation: $160k-$190k (dependent upon experience)
