Schedule/Hours: 29 hours per week, Monday - Friday with some Saturdays

This position is responsible for:

Receiving, sorting, pricing, and preparing donated items for display in the store. Determines suitability and pricing of items based on established standards. Assists in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the store and sorting room area.

Key Responsibilities:

Receives, inspects and sorts donated items such as clothes, shoes, household items, bric-a-brack, etc
Selects items suitable for store display and distributes same to appropriate area for further sorting and/or pricing; discards items in accordance with established procedures.
Tags items with specially coded tickets and/or prices in accordance with established procedures; hangs clothes on hangers and places same on clothes racks.
Maintains warehouse area in a neat and orderly manner; cleans floors, tables and work areas.

Physical Requirement and Working Conditions:

Duties are usually performed standing.
Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.
Moderate physical effort required associated with sitting, walking, standing, lifting, bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and carrying light to heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).

High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred, and
One year experience working in a warehouse preferred, or any equivalent combination of training and experience providing the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
