Marketing Specialist

We are an association management company (AMC). The purpose of an AMC is to help (primarily) 501(c)6 non-profits with their operations. We cover everything from day-to-day operations to marketing to event planning for our clients.

We are seeking a versatile and motivated Marketing Specialist who is willing to use their skills in Feathr.co (or be willing to learn) to support our agency’s work with associations. The ideal candidate will manage Feathr campaigns, create and curate content, handle client-specific strategies and reporting, and assist with social media management and website updates. This role requires comfort with paid acquisition strategies, including digital advertising and audience targeting, to achieve measurable results for clients. This position is fully remote with regular team meetings (occasionally in person).
Must be available by Zoom/Teams for touch base meetings during normal business hours.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Marketing Strategy & Schedule: Develops and executes marketing strategies and schedule for each client’s activities.
- Email Marketing: Draft compelling e-blasts that are targeted. Performs A/B testing. Develop drip campaigns.
- Social Media: Plan, schedule, and post content on social media, typically LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram for multiple clients. Create visual and written content tailored to each platform.
- Website: General posting of articles and content updates. Create and maintain event-specific landing pages as needed.HTML not required, but great if you know how. Basic SEO.
- Digital Marketing Campaigns: Using Feathr, develop retargeting, lookalike, and email campaigns.
- Drip Campaigns: Develop and monitor drip campaigns.
- Newsletters: Coordinate client newsletters
- Reporting: Provide performance reports on marketing campaigns.
- Design: Strong eye for visual composition by ensuring campaigns are aesthetically pleasing and thoughtfully presented.
- Brochures: Draft compelling content and designs for brochures.
- PowerPoint: Review PowerPoints for brand compliance and update as necessary.

Requirements:
- Bachelors in a relevant field
- 2+ years experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field
- Skillset that supports the duties outlined above.
- Willingness to learn Feathr (training provided if needed).
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with nonprofit or association marketing is a plus.
- Willingness to use personal cell phone for business calls.
- Meet virtually for client and staff meetings (in-person on occasion)
- Furnish your own office space that is quiet and professional (i.e. desk, chair, lighting, etc.)
Preferred:
- Experience working with non-profits as an employee/contractor or volunteering in your personal life for a non-profit.
